In a bizarre collaboration that breaks usual forecasts, the game developer has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Revealed

According to the formal statement, "An unusual encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of prohibited practices and fearsome changes echo through the shadows." The storyline features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine group.

The questline concentrates on "bizarre trials and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
