Football Expert Chris Sutton Takes On Singer Olly Murs in Premier League Forecasts
The Gunners' 10-game victorious streak was ended by Sunderland prior to the international break, however can the English top division frontrunners bounce back against north London rivals Tottenham this weekend?
"{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," stated football expert Chris Sutton.
"Frank will try to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's side typically still find a way to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, against AI, fans and a range of guests.
For week 12, he faces performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.
Murs' new record, Knees Up, is available on Friday.
Football and Family Life
Olly is a talented footballer as well as a accomplished artist and has been a featured player of multiple charity football matches over time - but he is not intending a professional return as a footballer.
"{I actually played in a charity game the other evening for a mate of mine," he explained. "The team was losing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my knee a few years ago and it even now isn't where I want it to be. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it seriously again.
"Plus I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my child or boy chooses to play instead."
The singer and his wife his partner have two children, Madison and Albert, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their coach.
"I won't push football on our kids but I've already told Amelia that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be managing their weekend soccer team," he added.
"I observed my relatives play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I clearly was involved with a soccer team for a period too.
"My father coached with us when I was a child, which is probably where I get it from. He managed our side for two or three years and had great fun with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Top Division Forecasts
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues may have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's comeback from injury but their offense is now stronger with Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.
I still think this fixture will be fairly tight, however. The Clarets are disciplined and their only home losses so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
This suggests a one-all draw to me, but I am actually going to go with the London side to edge it for what would be their third consecutive league win in a row.
The expert's forecast: 1-2
The singer's pick: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
AI's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have been defeated in their past two games - although both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.
On the other hand, West Ham secured two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they appear competitive again.
West Ham's sole on the road victory this season came at Nottingham Forest in the summer, when West Ham boss Nuno was still Forest coach.
Therefore, what on earth do I predict here - will it be West Ham continuing their run under their manager, or the home side responding?
I am going to go with Bournemouth, because I think what occurred against Aston Villa was a blip.
Sutton's forecast: 2-0
The guest's outlook: The home team are doing well but the visitors have picked up under Nuno. 2-2
The algorithm's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were considered one of the favourites for relegation before the campaign started, but they have surprised a several observers under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three in their past four matches.
A family member advised me to get Bees forward Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
Thiago will probably find the net again on the weekend but I am nonetheless not going to pick him or support Brentford at Brighton's ground.
The Bees have not had much fortune on the road this term, and the Seagulls are consistently decent at home. The visitors will try to attack on the counter-attack but I think the home manager's team pose much more of a danger.
Sutton's prediction: 2-1
The singer's view: This could be one of those games where you expect there is going to be a many goals but it in reality proves to be rather close. 1-1
The computer's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
It is a massive game for Fulham, who have lost five of their last six matches.
Fulham have got lots of talent in their squad but it still feels like they could be sucked into a relegation fight.
Regarding Sunderland, indeed they are the surprise package of the top flight season so far.
Their performance in the two-all tie with the Gunners last time out was superb. We have not seen any other team rough up the Gunners like that this season, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The logical choice to do to support the Black Cats here, because they are obviously capable of roughing the hosts up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat Chelsea at the close of last month.
But I am not choose that. Rather, I truly need to continue going against the away team with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of credit for their positive outcomes because they evidently love to defy my predictions.
Considering Fulham's home form, the sole side they have lost to is Arsenal. Marco Silva's team will be absolutely eager for a good result, so I am going to predict they will secure three much-needed points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
Olly's choice: I know Sunderland are doing well and additionally that Fulham are on a bad streak... but Fulham have still been decent at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
AI's outlook: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
It is a tough fixture to predict. Liverpool have lost seven of their past 10 matches in all competitions, but might they be among the teams who benefit from the {international break|
