But Battlefield 6 is aiming to alter that.

This is the latest entry in a long-running warfare game series often framed as a more authentic answer to its main competitor.

The title has seldom been able to match its best-known opponent in regards of revenue or gamers, but there are signs the new installment could reduce the distance.

Building On Past Shortcomings

The new release follows the release of the advanced the last installment, released four years ago to a unfavorable response it found it hard to bounce back from.

"We probably couldn't create and produce this new game absent the lessons we acquired in the previous title," she explains to us.

Among those insights was to involve the community involved early, and the studio initiated exclusive community trials in recent months.

Their "feedback was extremely encouraging," says she.

A further missing component from the previous installment was a solo experience, which has been restored for this release.

The Guildford team project head Fas Salim is the one responsible for "ensuring those stages are as fun and engaging as feasible for the players."

Despite reports that the scale of the project had challenged the different teams partnering across continents to build the project, Fas is positive about the work.

"Partnering with different backgrounds, distinct backgrounds, it's a very engaging environment to be part of daily," he shares.

"This entire strategy has been a fresh take but also really exciting because we are working with individuals from internationally."

As for the pressure on the developers, he says: "We experience pressure but additionally it's motivating.

"We're dealing with a big project. It's probably the biggest that many of us have before participated in."

Emerging Developer Brings Innovative Insight

That's definitely true of a minimum of a single developer, visual designer the artist.

The recent hire creates the visual ambiance that influence the mood, style, and focus of the single-player campaign.

The artist finished an internship at Criterion prior to getting a position at the company, and now is employed part-time while concluding his digital arts studies at Bournemouth University.
